The Whiteboard New Zealand Limited is gaining a reputation in Wellington for events and strategic communications.
Back in 1999, Grant Stevenson co-founded his first events company. Past successes include the first two premieres on the street for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the opening events of the Wellington airport, St James and Reading Cinemas complex and the international wine symposium Pinot Noir 2001. Now as director at The Whiteboard, he continues to be involved in major public events. More recently Grant has completed a feasibility study of the NZ Centre for Photography and was the designer/deliverer of the Town Hall Centenary programme of events. Grant is frequently called into idea-forming sessions to ask the right questions early in the process. His point of difference is creativity and finding the answers that fit with the client's strategy. He has been described as someone with his head firmly in the clouds and his feet firmly on the ground.
In 2006, The Whiteboard presented the first ever New Zealand Exhibition of Jewellery Design 2006. This event doubled in size in 2007, and now in 2008, it will run under the new name: National Jewellery Showcase.
